Hedkandi Returns to Q Bar
For those of you who witnessed Hed Kandi’s Q Bar debut featuring Andy
Norman and Shena, you know that quality house vibes is what the Kandi
Crew are all about. Part II of Q Bar’s Hed Kandi series brings one of
the collective's most seasoned DJs; David Dunne, along with in-house
percussion maestro; Ian C.
Earning his stripes years ago as a humble radio jock in Manchester,
David Dunne has gone on to become one of the world’s most successful
radio DJs in the ever competitive London market. Since 2003, Dunne
has been the radio DJ of choice for Hed Kandi, producing and
presenting their radio shows in London as well as 12 other
international markets. A year later Dunne became an official Hed
Kandi DJ and since then has toured the world many times over, playing
over 150 Hed Kandi parties. Known as ‘the DJs DJ’ for his technical
skill and ability to work a dancefloor, David Dunne is one of Hed
Kandi’s most accomplished and recognizable DJs.
Ian C’s entire adult life has revolved around music. As one of the
UK’s most successful session and live percussionists, Ian has become
the go to man for DJs looking to add that extra live element to their
sets and recordings. Fusing together traditional percussion elements
with state of the art technology; Ian C has developed into that rare
breed of live musician able to maneuver in and out of a variety of DJ
styles. Ian C's reputation as a performer, apart from his obvious
talent, has been built on the fact that in the last few years he has
played with over 100 of the best DJs at over 60 of the best club
nights across the globe.
